The orthopaedic clinic Orthes
was established in November 1996.From the beginning is dedicated to the surgical care and rehabilitation of patients requiring hip, knee, shoulder, ankle and elbow surgery. Surgical services include Total Joint Replacement of hip and knee joints, including revision surgery. Specialized Arthroskopic surgical procedures are performed on knees, shoulders and ankles. Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction is also performed.
Surgery is performed in operating suites dedicated to orthopaedics. Post-operative patients benefit from a specialized treatment approach that minimizes disruption and greatly enhances the recovery process. Patients will be back at home and ready to resume on active lifestyle sooner than ever before.
For our patients are prepared air-conditioned rooms, where they can feel comfortable. Three beds are on air-conditioned intensive care unit.
The Orthes is located in Roznov pod Radhostem on Palackeho Street. Roznov pod Radhostem is famous cultural, tourist and sports centre in The Northeast part of Moravia. Rožnov pod Radhostem is situated in the hearth of Beskydy Mountains, which are known for their beautiful and clean nature.
Integral and irreplaceable part of orthopaedic clinic is rehabilitation.
After a consultation with the rehabilitation doctor Kateřina Jurova, M.D., patients continue with exercises with physical therapists Jana Neradova, Alena Panovska, Hana Petrkovska and Marek Petrek.
The advantage of the rehabilitation ward is close cooperation with the orthopaedic unit.
